WHAT SIZE AM I?

MACV Series runs true to size. If you're unsure of your size we recommend going a half size up since your feet will swell when rucking and you probably won't be wearing cheap thin socks (merino wool recommended).

UNISEX SIZING

The MACV Series heel lock, and contoured arch support make for a truly unisex boot. Sizing begins at M4/W6 to allow for a full range of women's size options. See the size conversion chart below to find your size.

Allow for 2cm of room when measuring by insert.

Inspired by Vietnam-era Jungle Boots worn by MACV-SOG and other Special Forces units in the 60's. Modernized to today’s all-terrain requirements of traveling, training, rucking - and assaulting.

REAR FINGER LOOP

A finger loop was added to the rear of the boot so you can easily pull your Travelers on and off.

PREMIUM UPPER MATERIALS

Hard wearing full-grain Challenge Leather™ that only gets better with time and use. We changed up the sewing on the exterior of the Travelers to give it that classier look. Show up in a suit, tie, and your MACV-1 Travelers and still be ready to take on a Challenge Event.

WATER-RESISTANT

Our MACV series is proudly NOT waterproof, but is water-resistant. The entire upper is built out of our proven Challenge Leather, which is water-resistant. Additionally, we added gussests to the tongue of the boot to help prevent water from coming through the front and removed the drain holes to prevent water from coming in on the bottom.

MOLDED TOE CAP

The molded toe cap not only allows you to buff and shine the toe of your boots, but it helps to keep the shape of your boots. Plus it looks good, of course.

13MM HEEL-TO-TOE DROP

The ideal heel-to-toe drop for rucking and walking for long distances. 13mm offset reduces the strain on your achilles (and by proxy your ankle, knees, and hips) and helps to accommodate a natural gait in an unnatural world of asphalt and man-made surfaces.

WIDE TOE BOX

Generous forefoot area lets your toes breathe. Over time and distance during any activity including rucking or traveling, your feet will swell. This extra space reduces the friction that can occur if your feet rub against the insides of your boot.

SUEDE + INJECTION MOLDED HEEL COUNTER

Premium suede wraps a supportive, injection molded plastic heel counter. This combo stabilizes your heel as the suede leather prevents the kind of friction that causes hotspots and blisters.

3MM SPEED LACES

Speed laces are 3mm as opposed to standard 5mm. Debris and mud doesn't collect on the 3mm laces like it does on the 5mm, the 3mm rinse off and dry faster, and they're faster to tie because there's less bulk.
